This Privacy Policy is accessible within the app and on our website. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:
- Account Information: Username, email address, password (hashed), and profile information including avatar selections
- Authentication Data: Information from third-party authentication providers (Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In) if you choose to use those services
- Gameplay Data: Your match history, rankings, achievements, and in-game statistics
- Social Features: Friend lists, guild memberships, chat messages, and other social interactions
- Purchase Information: Transaction history for in-app purchases
- Support Communications: Information you provide when contacting our support team
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
When you use the Service, we automatically collect certain information, including:
- Device Information: Device type, model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (including IDFA/IDFV on iOS), device language, time zone, and mobile network information
- Usage Data: How you interact with the Service, features used, time spent, gameplay patterns, match participation, trading activity, and navigation paths within the app
- Log Data: IP address, access times, error logs, crash reports, and performance metrics
- Location Data: General location information (city/country level) based on IP address. We do not collect precise location data unless you explicitly grant permission
- Diagnostic Data: Crash logs, performance data, and technical information to help us identify and fix issues
- Product Interaction: In-app purchase history, subscription status, and virtual currency transactions
1.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from third-party services, including:
- Authentication Providers: When you use Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address (if provided), and a unique identifier. With Apple Sign-In, you can choose to hide your email address, and we respect that choice. We do not receive your password from these providers.
- Payment Processors: Apple and Google process all in-app purchases. We receive transaction confirmations and purchase history, but we do not receive your payment card information, which is handled entirely by Apple/Google.
- Stock Data Providers: We use third-party APIs (such as Polygon) to provide real-time stock market data. These providers may log API requests, but they do not receive your personal information.
- Cloud Services: Firebase (Google Cloud Platform) hosts our backend services and may collect technical information as part of their service provision.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
2.1 Service Functionality
- Create, maintain, and manage your account
- Enable core gameplay features including matchmaking, rankings, leaderboards, and social interactions
- Process transactions and deliver virtual goods and in-app purchases
- Provide real-time stock market data and trading functionality
- Enable friend connections, guild memberships, and social features
- Send you push notifications about matches, friend requests, achievements, and game updates (you can control these in your device settings)
2.2 Analytics and Improvement
- Analyze usage patterns, feature adoption, and gameplay behavior to improve the Service
- Identify and fix bugs, crashes, and performance issues
- Understand user preferences to enhance user experience
- Measure the effectiveness of features and content
2.3 Security and Compliance
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, cheating, and security threats
- Enforce our Terms of Service and community guidelines
- Comply with legal obligations, court orders, and regulatory requirements
- Protect the rights, property, and safety of our users and the Service

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
3.1 Public Information
The following information is publicly visible to other users:
- Username and avatar
- Rank and leaderboard position
- Public match history and statistics
- Guild membership
3.2 Service Providers
We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and only use it for the purposes we specify. We share information with:
- Cloud Hosting and Storage: Firebase (Google Cloud Platform) hosts our backend services, databases, and stores your account data, match history, and game progress. Firebase's privacy practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Payment Processors: Apple (for iOS) and Google (for Android) process all in-app purchases. They handle payment information directly and we only receive transaction confirmations.
- Authentication Services: Apple and Google provide authentication services when you use Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In. Their privacy practices govern the authentication process.
- Analytics and Diagnostics: We may use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand app usage and diagnose issues. These services collect aggregated, anonymized usage data.
- Stock Data Providers: Third-party APIs (such as Polygon) provide real-time stock market data. API requests may be logged by these providers, but they do not receive your personal information.
Data Linking and Tracking: We do not link your personal information across third-party apps or websites for advertising or tracking purposes. We do not use your data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
3.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., court orders, subpoenas).
3.4 Business Transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
3.5 With Your Consent
We may share your information with third parties when you explicitly consent to such sharing.
4. Data Storage and Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL
- Secure password hashing
- Regular security assessments and updates
- Access controls and authentication requirements
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your data is stored on secure servers provided by our cloud hosting partners (primarily Firebase/Google Cloud) and may be stored in various geographic locations.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to:
- Provide the Service to you
- Comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax records, transaction history)
- Resolve disputes and enforce agreements
- Maintain security and prevent fraud
5.1 Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time through the account deletion feature in the app's Settings page (About & Support section). When you delete your account:
- We will delete or anonymize your personal information, including your profile, match history, friends list, and achievements
- We will remove you from leaderboards and public rankings
- We will cancel any active subscriptions (subject to Apple/Google's refund policies)
- Some information may be retained as required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes) or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention)
- Information that has been shared with other users (e.g., your username in their match history) may remain visible to them but will no longer be linked to your account
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please ensure you want to delete your account before proceeding.
5.2 Data Retention Periods
- Active Accounts: Data is retained while your account is active
- Deleted Accounts: Most data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion
- Transaction Records: Retained for 7 years as required by tax and financial regulations
- Security Logs: Retained for up to 2 years for fraud prevention and security purposes
- Analytics Data: Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
6.1 Access and Correction
You can access and update certain account information directly through the Service. For other information, you can contact us at support@wallstreetclash.com.
6.2 Account Deletion
You can delete your account and associated data at any time by:
- Using the "Delete Account" feature in the app's Settings page (About & Support section)
- Contacting us at support@wallstreetclash.com with a deletion request
Account deletion is immediate and permanent. Some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (see Section 5.2 for details).
6.3 Data Portability
You can request a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used format.
6.4 Opt-Out Options and Consent Withdrawal
You have control over your data and can:
- Opt out of promotional communications: Unsubscribe from marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email, or by contacting us at support@wallstreetclash.com
- Control push notifications: Adjust notification settings within the Service or through your device's system settings
- Disable location services: Turn off location permissions through your device settings (note: we only collect approximate location based on IP address, not precise GPS location)
- Limit ad tracking (iOS): Enable "Limit Ad Tracking" in your iOS device settings to prevent cross-app tracking
- Withdraw consent: You can withdraw your consent for data processing at any time by deleting your account or contacting us. Note that withdrawing consent may limit your ability to use certain features of the Service.
Important: We do not use your data for cross-app or cross-website tracking for advertising purposes. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
6.5 California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how it's used
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)

6.6 European Privacy Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including:

7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly and take steps to prevent further collection.
If you are between 13 and 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you represent that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the Service and that they have reviewed and agreed to this Privacy Policy on your behalf.

Age Restrictions: The Service may contain financial content and in-app purchases. Users under 18 should obtain parental consent before making purchases or engaging with financial content.
8. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.
9. Tracking and Cookies
9.1 Tracking Practices
We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not use your data to create profiles for advertising purposes or to track your activity outside of our Service.
Within our Service, we collect usage data to improve functionality and user experience, but this data is not used for cross-app tracking or advertising.
9.2 Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our mobile app does not use traditional web cookies. However, we use similar technologies including:
- Local Storage: We store data locally on your device (using iOS UserDefaults and SwiftData) to improve app performance and remember your preferences
- Device Identifiers: We use device identifiers (IDFV on iOS) to maintain your session and provide personalized features. These identifiers are not shared with third parties for advertising or tracking purposes
- Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics, which may use device identifiers to provide aggregated usage statistics. This data is anonymized and not used for tracking across other apps
You can control these technologies through your device settings, though disabling them may limit your ability to use certain features of the Service.
10. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
We will notify you of any material changes by:
- Posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date
- Displaying a notice within the app when you next launch it
- Sending you an email notification (if you have provided an email address)
Material changes will take effect 30 days after notification, unless we are required to implement them sooner due to legal or regulatory requirements.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.

13. Apple-Specific Privacy Information
13.1 Apple Sign-In
When you use Apple Sign-In, Apple provides us with your name and email address (or a private relay email if you choose to hide your email). We use this information solely to create and manage your account. We do not share this information with third parties except as described in this Privacy Policy.

13.2 App Store Privacy Labels
In compliance with Apple's App Store requirements, we disclose the following data collection practices in our App Store Privacy labels:
- Contact Information: Name, email address (collected for account creation and communication)
- User Content: Username, profile information, gameplay data, match history (collected for service functionality)
- Identifiers: User ID, device ID (collected for account management and service functionality)
- Usage Data: Product interaction, advertising data (collected for analytics and service improvement)
- Diagnostics: Crash data, performance data (collected for service improvement)
- Purchases: Purchase history (collected for transaction processing)
- Location: Approximate location (collected for service functionality, based on IP address only)
This data is used for App Functionality, Analytics, and Product Personalization. We do not use this data for tracking purposes across other companies' apps or websites.
13.3 In-App Purchases
All in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles all payment information directly, and we only receive transaction confirmations. Apple's privacy practices govern payment processing. You can manage your subscriptions and purchases through your Apple ID account settings.
